Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to promote and sell School Bus Management Software and related hardware solutions (GPS trackers, 4G Camera, dash cameras, transport safety systems) to schools, educational institutions, and transport contractors. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities with schools, school groups, and transport operators.
Promote and sell School Bus Management Software, GPS tracking systems, and safety solutions.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for school management and transport departments.
Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and commercial offers to clients.
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for renewals and upselling opportunities.
Coordinate with technical and installation teams for smooth project implementation.
Track sales activities and update CRM / sales reports regularly.
Attend education events, exhibitions, and transport safety meetings to promote solutions.
Required Skills
Strong sales and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Knowledge of GPS tracking, fleet management, or school transport systems (preferred)
Ability to build relationships with school administrators and decision-makers
Good understanding of software and technology solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related field
MBA in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage
Experience
1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, GPS tracking, or transport solutions
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Monthly / Quarterly sales target achievement
Number of new school clients onboarded
Revenue generation from software subscriptions and hardware sales
Customer retention and renewals
Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel for school visits and client meetings
Valid driving license preferred
