When the fleet belongs to a vendor

Many companies hire cabs from one or more transport vendors. Tracking still works: the device goes on the vehicle, and the company's transport desk can see the vehicles assigned to it. Reports on trips and distance help check vendor invoices, and geofences around the office and pickup zones record arrivals without anyone having to call the driver.

Night shifts and safety

Late-night drops are where a transport desk most needs live visibility. Practical steps include a speed limit with overspeed alerts, geofences around each drop area, SOS alerts routed to a person who is awake, and a cabin camera where your policy allows it.
