From GIDC estates to the Kutch ports

Ahmedabad's fleets serve one of India's busiest industrial regions. The GIDC estates at Vatva, Naroda and Odhav run chemicals, pharmaceuticals, textiles and engineering goods. The automotive cluster around Sanand and the warehouses at Changodar and Bavla sit on the city's western side, and container trucks make the long run to Mundra and Kandla ports in Kutch. The Ahmedabad–Vadodara Expressway and NH 48 carry freight south towards Vadodara, Surat and Mumbai.

A round trip to Mundra can take a day or more, and port queues are unpredictable, so transporters want live position and accurate stop records rather than phone updates from drivers.

Port runs and plant logistics

The GPS tracker for trucks shows each vehicle's live position, refreshed roughly every 10 seconds, along with ignition status and stop time. Draw geofences around the port gate, a CFS or a GIDC plant, and every entry and exit is logged automatically. The in-house DS8888/BS8888 device sends overspeed and tamper alerts and keeps up to about 15 hours of data in local memory if signal drops on the highway.

For tankers and trucks with large fuel tanks, a fuel level sensor or a Bluetooth wireless fuel sensor shows level, fuelling and sudden drops in the same software. Reports export as XLS, PDF, CSV or TXT for client billing.
